The Rolling Stocks Investment Club has been lucky enough to have the occasional flirtation with the media. Click on the images below for more detail.

In March 2005, we won the 2005 Proshare Award for Most Successful Club Using Alternative Share Trading. This generated this article from the Manchester Evening News of 11th April 2005.

After a run of nearly 4 years without winning a competition, we won the Mirror's FTSE Flyer competition for April 2004 and appeared in the 12th May 2004 edition of the paper.

In October 2000 we won the "Bulls and Bears" competition run by the Independent.   We appeared in the 11th November 2000 edition of the paper.

On 16th February 2000, when the article below appeared in the Mirror, we received a phone call from Radio Stoke asking whether we could come in to be interviewed on their 'Drive Time' programme.   As, co-incidentally, we were all together for a club meeting that day, we agreed to the invitation.

In December 1999, the Club won the Daily Mirror's competition. The next month, January 2000, we won it again and appeared in the 16th February edition of the paper.
